Eligibility
Postgraduate research students who have completed at least 2 sessions enrolment
(full-time equivalent) in any Faculty of Engineering research program are eligible to
apply for the award. Only one award will be given per candidate over their total
enrolment period in graduate research within the Faculty. It is expected that
candidates will discuss their application with their supervisor before submission.
Application Process
Applications Closed October 6th 2006
Candidates should complete the application form and submit it with their abstract [a
300 word (MUST be only 1 page,12 pt font,) research description] to Lynne
O’Sullivan (Faculty Office) no later than October 6th. Up to 5 candidates will be shortlisted
for the prize from each School (including ADFA engineering schools). Those
short-listed will be informed by October 18th and will be required to prepare a poster
presentation for the Deans Postgraduate Research Award event to be held on
November 8th at 5.00 – 7.30 pm.
