The Jacobs Australia Engineering Leadership Prize will be awarded to recognise outstanding
engineering leadership or management exhibited by a UNSW student undertaking one of the
following Engineering undergraduate programs:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronic Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Surveying and Spatial Information Systems
- Telecommunications
Prize
A cash prize of $2,750 will be awarded to the winner of The Jacobs Australia Engineering
Leadership Prize.
The Prize will be payable in a lump sum.
Award of the Prize will be acknowledged on student academic transcripts as a highlighted entry.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible, undergraduates must:
- Be nominated by the relevant Head of School or their representatives.
- Complete a full-time program of study in the year in which the Prize is awarded, which
will lead to conferment of a bachelor of engineering in one of the programs listed above.
The program may be a single or combined degree with an appropriate engineering major,
completed within mid-year or end-of-year.
- Be Australian citizens or permanent residents only.
Jacobs Australia staff or their immediate family members are not eligible for the prize.
Application Closing Date
Tuesday 3 November 2009. Short-listed students notified by Friday 6 November 2009.
