How to Apply

You can apply online by using the UNSW Apply Online service.

Alternatively you can make a paper-based application.

There is a $50 charge to lodge an online application, and a $100 charge to lodge a paper application.

The UNSW Apply Online service also has quick links to key information for applicants, including the application tracking service which allows you to check the progress of your application go to www.apply.unsw.edu.au

Closing Date

Semester One (March)
Applications to commence study in Semester One (March) must be lodged by 31 October.

Semester Two (July)
Applications to commence study in Semester Two (July) must be lodged by 30 April. Note that not all programs have a Semester 2 start date.

Late Applications
Late applications will be accepted after the closing dates subject to the availability of places. Please note that whilst UNSW endeavour to process applications as quickly as possible, due to time constraints it cannot be guaranteed that a late application will be processed in time for Semester commencement.

International Applicants
Applications are made directly to UNSW, please see the UNSW International website for closing dates.

Scholarship Applicants
Many Postgraduate Scholarships have different application closing dates, please refer to the Scholarship website for further details.
