Admission

Higher degree research study involves original and critical enquiry that makes a significant contribution to existing knowledge of relevance both nationally and internationally. Research students are required to produce a thesis embodying the results of independent investigation under the guidance of an academic supervisor.

To apply for a postgraduate research program in the Faculty of Engineering you will need to:

  1. Match your research interests with a School in the Faculty of Engineering, go to Key Research Areas
  2. Find a potential supervisor, go to Research Academic Index
  3. Contact the academic you have identified via email or the Faculty Postgraduate Coordinator at XXX
  4. Prepare a research proposal; you will find guidelines at How to Apply - GRS website
  5. Submit your application.
