Practise-Based Engineering Education Research

Practise-Based Engineering Education Research

The Faculty is aiming to establish Practice-based Engineering Education Research as a mainstream activity with the same status as other types of engineering disciplinary research. PEER is practice- based in two senses - linked to meeting the needs of professional engineering practice and grounded in the development of our own learning and teaching practices and systems. We are therefore seeking to:

  • Develop capacity for generating high quality engineering education research output
  • Embed best engineering education practice within the Faculty's programs, and its learning and teaching support systems.
