2 students from the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE), have set up The N&M Fund for the school. University Medallist and now PhD student Nicole Kuepper and current 4th year Photovoltaic Engineering student, Maurice Wells have kindly donated personal funds to start the N&M fund.

The N&M Fund was started to improve the recognition of academic achievement in the formative years of the Photovoltaic & Solar Energy Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering Degrees.

There are 2 prizes which come under the N&M Fund.

1. The Radiant Design Prize, valued at $250 for
    ENGG1000 – Intro to Engineering Design and Innovation.

This prize is for the team of students that have the fastest time for the Space Elevator Project. The prize is to be divided equally between the students. The intention of this prize will be reviewed annually to adapt to the new projects as they develop.

2. Suntastic Project Prize, valued at $250 for
    SOLA2052 – Project in Solar Energy 2

This prize is for the student with the highest mark overall in SOLA2052. This prize will also be reviewed annually.
