The 2007/8 Taste of Research Summer Scholarship Program concluded last night with a Poster Presentation attended by participants, project supervisors, sponsors (NICTA), and Heads of School.
Over ten weeks these 2nd and 3rd year students (from both UNSW and other Australian universities) have joined a research team within the Faculty of Engineering to undertake a project within one of the Faculty's three Research Themes of "Fundamental and Enabling Research", "Resources and Infrastructure for the Future", and "The Digital Future".
The posters of thirteen students were shortlisted with those students invited to provide a two-minute overview of their poster and the work completed over the Summer.
The winners were announced on the night by the Associate Dean, Dr David Clements, and presented with the $100 book voucher by Dr Terry Percival (Managing Laboratory Director NICTA). The winning posters may be viewed here.
