The Early Career Researcher Grants Scheme (ECRGS) is administered through the Faculty of Engineering and funded via the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) and is designed to meet the following objectives:

• support research by early career researchers (ECR) and early career academics (ECA);
• support development of competitive applications to an external research funding agency, including industry linkage applications;
• support area/s of research strength or emerging research strength ;
• support cross-disciplinary research (between two or more schools or two or more areas of strength);
